    Program Description

Increasingly, the leadership skills of a meeting professional are defined by their ability to work strategically with people of different ages, ethnic backgrounds, gender and sexual identities, religions, and more. The globally dynamic workforce of today requires meeting planners to stir multiple pots. Creativity and thinking outside the box are musts. An event planned in Dubai would be very different from one planned in Philadelphia. In this dynamic presentation, Preethi Fernando will inspire and enlighten about skills needed in cultural competence.

After listening and interacting with Preethi during her presentation, you will leave the conference with ideas, inspiration, and the practical nuts and bolts of teamwork essentials while working through diverse events. In an interactive and energizing presentation, Preethi Fernando identifies 7 characteristics of a culturally enlightened person. Which ones describe you? What are the 3 vital steps of getting 125+ different people with 125+ different mindsets to work together in achieving common goals? Join Preethi during this presentation to find out.
