    November Education Event

    Wednesday, November 14, 2018
    5:00pm - 8:30pm

    Exceptionally Human:
    Successful Communication in a Distracted World

    100 Four Falls Corporate Center
    Suite 106
    Conshocken, PA 19428

    Why is it in some cases a person can be a successful and effective communicator, and in other instances they are not? Why are there times a person can successfully gain and hold another person’s attention, then in the next interaction they fail to do so.

    The answer to these questions may be as simple as one, two, three. In this interactive, entertaining, and educational program, participants will discover how successful communication is dependent upon three significant factors
    (1) being perceived as trustworthy;
    (2) eliciting desired emotions; and
    (3) being
    perceived as reasonable. Trust. Emotions. Reason.

    These Three Pillars of Exceptional Communication are present in each and every interaction, whether consciously considered or not. By being aware of how these Three Pillars play out, and how a person’s communication style impacts how others perceive them via these Three Pillars, participants can begin to make thoughtful and strategic adjustments to their current communication practices to help achieve greater communication success.

    Results generated from this quick and simple series of questions provides participants with insights as to how other people may currently be experiencing their current communication via the Three Pillars.

    Learner Outcomes:
    1. Participants will learn about the Three Pillars of Exceptional Communication(trust, emotions, and reason) and how these Three Pillars ultimately determine their communication success at work and beyond.
    2. Participants will discover how their current communication practices impact how other people perceive their trustworthiness, reasonableness, and the emotional experience people have with them.
    3. Participants will identify their current communication strengths, challenges, and opportunities for growth as they discover what adjustments they can make to their communication practices, via the Three Pillars, to achieve even greater communication success at work and beyond.
